The Beginning of a New Series of Boring Misadventures

So I probably have that much time to kill since I'm back into blogging. GAWD! I missed writing so so much! I don't even know where to start. Haha! I forgot how to do it I guess. This probably is a wrong idea and nobody will probably read this so, WHATEV!

First of, I am happy to announce that I recently got promoted at work. By the way, I work for a BPO company as a Data Analyst for about a year now. So, that's kind of a major achievement for me. Leveling up in a short span of time (1 year is considered as a short time for people at work because most of them waited for almost 2 years to apply for a promotion). Pat on my back! Congrats to me!

However, on the same night that I learned of this great great news comes another news from home. My Tatay had a mild stroke. That's according to my Nanay and my Tito who texted me the news. Bummer right? I didn't know what to make of the message at first. I wasn't sure on how to react but one thing is for sure though, I didn't feel any panic. I was so sure that he's okay after the so-called stroke. I just know.

He was rushed to the nearest hospital and admitted at once. I visited him the next day ('conveniently filed an emergency leave. Great right? Leave after a promotion) and he seemed fine. But according to Bendict, our trusted family friend and who was looking after Tatay the day I visited, he had another stroke that morning. My weird reaction was, Thank God I wasn't there when it happened! I would have freaked out I guess and probably would have left him. I'm not good with dealing panic. Oh! I'm such a bad person! I'm just glad that Tatay is already okay.

Earlier today, he had an EEG. It was interesting that we were transported from the hospital that he was confined in to the hospital where the EEG test was conducted by an AMBULANCE. It was on hell of a ride...literally! I promised myself never to ride in an ambulance again, unless it's a Life and Death type of thing.

I took a snapshot of Tatay while we were on a wild ride.
Good job for not throwing up!
